It's been a while since I posted, since which I've been getting good use out of our camera...
Somehow managed to survive Christmas. Got lots of toys out of it, but no longer have very much money in the bank as a result. A lot more than this time last year, but not as much as I would like for someone that's supposed to be building a house this year.
Between Christmas and new year's we visited a couple of Linda's friends.
New year's was spent at Whiteman Park with the Bassendean SES. After a couple of hours of directing cars to their parking spots we found a spot near the back of the crowd where we ate, drank, and chased each other around with blocks of ice. I would have taken more photos, but it seems that one of the camera batteries did not charge fully, and I'd left the rest of the batteries at home. D'oh.
The new year began with a LAN bash and a picnic at Point Walter.
Yesterday Commodore Homes presented us with our building contract, which I opted to not sign until I'd at least taken it to mum for perusal, which we did last night. Deleting some of the more expensive variations (eaves at the back, replacing the ensuite bath with a spa) will provide us some prestart allowance...
Tomorrow we go back to ask a few final questions, and probably to sign the dotted line.
