1. If you were in charge of the menu for a large dinner party what would you plan? (getting take away or getting anyone else to do the planning/cooking is not allowed :P)
Okay, pretending for a moment that I wouldn't take the "everybody bring a dish" route:
Entrée:
- bruschetta, or mini quiches and antipasto (may need Linda to tell me how she makes hers)
Mains:
- vegie lasagne (mmm, zucchini, eggplant, mushrooms)
- rolled lamb (or chicken) roast
- a couple of salads
- if there's -lots- of people I'd probably add BBQ meat to the mix.
Desserts:
- bread'n'butter pudding, or maybe rice custard
- jelly, ice cream
2. What's your favourite dish for
![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
I have to pick just one? :( There are so many to choose from. Chicken curry springs to mind first, and I think risotto and cacciatore round out the top three.
3. What is the nicest compliment you've ever been paid?
I think the nicest ones have tended to be the ones that say that

4. What is your current favourite word and why?
I haven't stopped enjoying 'glomph' yet. :) As well as the obvious positive connotations and onomatopoeia, I do have a taste for random words (I have machines here named 'wibble' and 'plugh').
5. What does your dream job look like?
I'd say it'll almost inevitably look like a keyboard, a nice screen (or three), and computers in a quiet and pleasant environment. It also needs to pay well enough that I only need to work three or four days a week. :P

1. What do you like most about being married?
Well, there is a certain feeling of security and comfort. And relief to know that someone can stand me enough to want to spend their life with me. :P
This is in addition to the usual advantages of hanging out with

2. What do you miss most about being single?
Hmm. Low-cost living. Last time I was single for any length of time, I was still living at home. :P
3. Do you still plan on any big life changes?
I expect child[ren] will arrive some day. "big life changes" strikes me as often meaning "big expensive life changes", and I currently wish to avoid big expenses. :P
4. What do you love most about L?
The ability and will to make stuff happen.
5. Tell me something about yourself that I don't know but you think I should know.
I liked my hair best when it was long (but was convinced that I had to get it cut to make me more employable). :P

Glad you're loving that word :)
Also, that's a great menu! :)
I also like the look of your dream job *hugs*

So, how bout it? ;)

Needless to say, you've got your work cut out for you trying to convince me it's a good idea. :P

The trick will be getting you interested in doing it too :)

Children aren't as expensive as most people try and make them, I think. So far it's working out that way for us, anyway. But I'm a bit determined about stuff like that.
Oh, and don't give in to L on the cooking the entire dinner menu thing :-) At least, not til I'm there to join in the eating -grin-. Ooh, bread and butter pudding...

You're right, I did forget. Though I think having them as far away as next door strikes me as not being ambitious enough.
not til I'm there to join in the eating
Ah, excellent, I now have an excuse (other than "I said pretending!"). You weren't planning on coming back to Perth for a while now, were you? :P (I can't believe what I'm insinuating here...)

Miss T, mynxii and I are very disappointed in you! We were looking forward to food and he is now goign to stubbornly believe that he can get out of it until you come back to Perth. If you do come back, I will cook whatever you want me to cook for you :) But now you'll have to come back sooner so we can have another dinner party :)
